Member & Partner Engagement

Providing Expertise and Support

The Member and Partner Engagement Service is comprised of a team of professionals with expertise in policy development and analysis; research, data analysis and decision support; and public relations. The service provides policy support to  Health Association continuing care member forums (Continuing Care Council, Long Term Care Nova Scotia, the Home Care Network and Diverse Abilities NS), helping them to develop solutions to system challenges through representation, facilitation and a variety of activities, including analyzing policy impacts on members/sectors, information/data collection, research, analysis and reporting.

The Member and Partner Engagement Service is also responsible for overseeing the Health Association’s core internal and external marketing and communications functions.

In addition, the Health Association is under contract to administer the Continuing Care Assistant Program and the Dementia: Understanding the Journey course. We are also the lead agency for HSP-Net.
