Health Association Nova Scotia (HANS) is a membership-based association representing organizations along the full continuum of care and whose mandates positively contribute to the social determinants of health. This includes, but is not limited to, Nova Scotia Health and the IWK Health Centre, 97% of the licensed nursing homes in the province, almost 100% of the home care agencies receiving public funding, and organizations providing services in the Disability Support Program Sector.
